Anya (the Interviewer): Hey there, DJ Monty! How are you?
DJ Monty: Fine.
Anya: Haha, ok. So let’s start. How about.. what’s your real name?
DJ Monty: Montasser.
Anya: Ah.. do you have a nickname? That your friends call ya?
DJ Monty: Monty.
Anya: Yea, of course.
DJ Monty: Cause my pet name is Monty.
Anya: Yes, hence the name "DJ Monty". So, do you think people like your music?
DJ Monty: Yeah.. although some don’t like me?
Anya: Eh? How so?
DJ Monty: Well, i got this one email from someone saying i suck..
Anya: Ah, well.. it’s all part of the music business. So, how’d you become a DJ?
DJ Monty: I bought a DJ kit. Then my friends came over while i was making a tune. Then I went to become a DJ in the disco. One guy hired me play in India and I was given a chance to play my music on the radio. After playing my music on the radio, I made albums.
Anya: Oh, ok.. how many sold??
DJ Monty: I’m not really sure, but i think about 59041.
Anya: Ok.. that’s a start! Wow.. your life must be interesting now, huh?
DJ Monty: Yeah, haha.
Anya: Awesome. So tell me, when did you really start fusing with music? Like getting close to it?
DJ Monty: At the age of 12.
Anya: Oh, thought so. What other types of music do you listen to?
DJ Monty: Hip Hop, Hindi, Pop, Rock, Jazz and many others.
Anya: Haha, ok.. i like it that you’re a well-rounded person regarding music. So, what are some bands you listen to?
DJ Monty: Linkin Park, Avril and many more.
Anya: Hey, you live in India right? Which city?
DJ Monty: Mumbai.
Anya: Nice place. Hmm, ever been to the villages?
DJ Monty: Yes, it’s really peaceful there.
Anya: Oh yes, it is. Yeah, i love it there… Well, it was AWESOME talking to ya. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to interview you!
